i injured myself at wk lifting a box of 2ltr coke n the bottom fell out as i tried to stop them from fallin ive hurt my back, i went back to wk thinkin that i wld be ok but it kept getting worse i made a docs appt but cldnt go so i went back 2 wk n pulled my shoulder trying to bring the airhose in (i was being careful as i had already hurt myself) ummm ive had an xray n that came back normal n the physio i went to couldnt find anything n pretty much said that its all in my head the pain only gets worse jus as i am able to try n deal with the pain n live life abit more normaly it seems to get worse i dnt actaly hav 2 do anythin jus laying dwn or sitting or standing for to long n it hurts which is very fustrating i went back 2 wk 2day 1 the 1st time in a few wks n im soooo very sore now i havnt broken any bones n physio didnt find anything (although they kept touching the spots where it hurts) do u hav any ideas abt whats causing the pain???? i feel like a bottle of pills i take so many even though i try had not to its soooo stupid please help me i just want to live my life normal again im only 21yo n its stopped me being able to do so much :'( any suggestions are much appreciated thank u :/

Internet problem with itunes?

Make sure your network settings are correct and your network is active, or try again later" My internet works fine. I also can't connect to the iTune Store. I ran the Diagnostics and it says my internet connection is verified, but secure link to iTunes store failed. My firewall is off. I have no other sorta of firewall.

Is dried squid bad for cats?

I know most fish and especially tuna are bad for cats because it causes taurine and vitamin B problems but is dried squid bad for them? My friend recently gave me a giant bag of dried squid for my cat to have as treats and he absolutely loves the stuff but I am worried about him having problems. Should this be a once in a very long while treat? I have some little taurine supplement tablets too that I got at the vet's office. Should I give him those whenever I give him the dried squid? Some help with rub identification and deer/elk proximity?

I was scouting for deer on Labor Day and came upon some rubs. They were about 3-4 feet off the ground and about a foot in length going up the tree. Usually I can differentiate between elk and deer rubs for obvious reasons but this situation is a little different. I have yet to see any firm signs of deer but the elk are everywhere. The rubs were also right by a creek crossing that elk regularly use. Would a young/spike bull make a rub the size of an average deer? I'd recommend a zipline tour and there are a couple to choose from. (I can't wait to do it myself!) Not sure that we have an absolute favorite restaurant yet but we just ate at Best Italian Cafe on April 16th (or 17th) and really enjoyed it. I know that this is normal for bad sinus infections, but can it also indicate a low platelet count? I'm just now getting over a similar situation. Obviously its not exactly the same, as we are two different people, but maybe I can offer some insight. If you are in college, most universities offer free counselling. That is what really helped me, having someone to talk to who won't judge me, and knows what they are talking about. Maybe that is why you are posting this on yahoo answers. Don't be afraid to get help. That being said, force yourself to be in social situations, even if you really don't want to. you won't make friends at home sleeping in, or playing WOW. Friends are a huge influence on your life, I think if you find some friends who you can relate with, then you may be able to glean some motivation from them. Human beings are social creatures. We are not designed to be alone. Just being with someone can change your entire day. Get some physical contact, as much as you can, even if its just a high five or something (not creepy contact, just be around people and connect with them physically and socially)

Well in order to kill at the rate you describe it would have to be a virus. Also viruses cannot be cured, only treated. Viruses are nothing but DNA and a protein coating so they are difficult to kill. With a virus that no immune system has ever seen (such as a human created synthetic virus) we would be defensless. There would be some random immunities in the human population so it would be nearly impossible to wipe out everyone. A good example of this is bacteria, there is always some bacteria that are resistant to the newest anti-biotics. Such as with Staph, we started treating with methecilin. But some of the Staph were resistant to it. Thus MRSA immerged. (Methecilin Resistant staphylococcus aureus). So we treated with Vancomiacin, but some were resistant. And that created VRSA ( Vancomiacin Resistant staphylococcus aureus). Anyways, sorry for ranting, but it would be very difficult to create a virus that could spread quickly and have a 100% mortality rate.

Psychogenic seizures and getting help?

we live in hawaii (big island) and my wife is bi-polar. we have 3 psychiatrists in the area that takes our insurance. Three weeks ago my wife started to have seizures. Last week, we went to Honolulu for testing and it was determined that they were psychogenic. The internal medicine Dr. initially started she was "faking" them. Then once it determined they were psychogenic, the released her with NO TREATMENT. We asked that she be placed in the psyche ward because she is manic and have dozens of seizures a day. They gave no medicines or advice. Just told us to see our family Dr. and for her to see her psychiatrist that sees her once every 4 months and even in emergencies isn't available. We are so stressed out trying to get her help. Any suggestions?

Will I most likely permenently have sole custody of my son?

I am a 24 yr old single mother with a 20 month old special needs son. I recently regained full physical & legel custody of him last month finally after 16 months involved in a CHIPS case. The reason being involved in the chips case was due to my son spending the first 5 months in the hospital for having serious medical needs and 4 different surgerys. Social services filed a petion with concerns of me being a single mother not being able to handle his special needs by myself and they believe I wasent spending enough time at the hospital with him which angered me. He was then placed in a temporary medical foster home. Now after 16 months its all over and my son is doing excellent and he is with me most of the time. His father wants to now take me to family court to fight for joint custody. He is 29, lives with his mom, is vindictive, condesending, like to power trip, refuses to pay child support and doesnt communicate with me that well. His visitation with our son is very reasonable for being the non custodial parent. His visitation schedule is every wednesday night and every other wknd fri sat and sun. He believes that if he takes me to family court since there was a previous chips case that this all could go to trial and i could lose my son which i believe is not possible since I am a good mother and already have sole custody. Does he really have a chance or should I just not worry?

3rd Write Up Is This Discrimination?

I was off on disability for a month back in June/July (misscarriage). Prior to being put on Disability I was in the hospital overnight, released on wednesday morning. Put out of work for Wed, Thurs, & Fri. I talked to my boss that Wednesday morning let her know i'd be out the week (I didn't call her I was under morphine, so she called me) anyhow I returned Monday (had dr. app. that day) but I got a write up for missing work the prior wk so I missed my dr. app... Even when I gave a Dr. note!! I was nieve and signed it. 2 months later I got another write up for calling off 3 days. I didnt sign that one becuase I thought it was unfair. Last week I got another write up...for taking 5 day's off since August. I have accrued sick/vacation/and floating which i still have about 40 hrs all together. Now she's trying to force me to sign this 3rd write up, which states if I call off one more time I will be terminated. What should I do, I feel stressed, uncomfortable, like she's always just watching me... =(

Im 14. I've been recently introduced into the whole furry fandom thing and now I am in love with it. My fursona is a snow leopard and I'm already ordering a tail. But now I dont really know anymore. I don't have that many friends. And none are furries. I have been struggling with depression my entire life. Well weight fluctuates about 5 pounds throughout the day so i don't think you gained any fat really. Also the sugar and salt in what you ate could have caused you to bloat (more water weight). I'm sure on that strict of a diet a little indulgence wouldn't do that much damage. You probably only took in an extra 1500 to 2000 calories max. Drink a lot of water to get the sugar and salt out of your system and i'm sure you'll get back to normal.

Completes the picture, magnificently so, and all honor and praise are due the visionaries behind the film. I've probably watched all three films atleast 30 times each, not exaggerating. Each and every time you watch the film again, your life is moved in a different way. You find something new every time. I never had so much respect and pion for something as strong and potent as LOTR trilogy and Howard Shores amazing piece, it's beyond epic. There are no words to describe it. Powerful, unumingly strong, poignant, thought-provoking and finally irresistibly uplifting. The LOTR trilogy is a gentle story of camaraderie and growth, with an ending that abruptly finds poetic justice in what has come before. I couldn't help but get cold shivers through my spine throughout the incredible journey. I want to cry, I'm so happy that such thing exists. I cannot wait for the Hobbit.

(Ok I'm doing this off from memory) Like Pecola Mrs. Breedlove was not self confident in herself because she wants to be white, she doesn't say it aloud but you can tell in the way she acts. Like the time she went to the movies and when she saw this specific actress she started to dress and do her hair just like the actress. She wishes to have a "nuclear family" like the white family she worked for when she was young. That's why she kind of a neat freak and has everything organized. But the couch in their home that has a torn in the middle is a symbol that she has an unstable family. She asked Mr. Breedlove to get rid of it but he doesn't want too which proves the trouble in their family will remain.

Thought I had a UTI...?

Felt pain and burning all day Saturday and yes, urges to urinate and most times very little came out. Took a UTI test with 1st urine Sunday morning, that showed Positive for Nitrates and Negative for Protein. Then yesterday, Monday, I bought another set of test strips and each time they showed WBC positive in urine throughout the day but no nitrates. I went to the doctor and she prescribed Ciprofloxacin HCL 500 mg Taran 1 tablet twice daily. I took 1 last night before dinner with a yogurt "drink". This morning I have no symptoms and sampled with 1st urine of the morning with the UTI test (2nd stick from the pack Sunday), both indicators came back negative for Nitrite or Protein. I did go ahead and take the morning does of the antibiotic. Did it go away that fast? Is the lab that took a urine sample yesterday going to find anything in the cultures they do?

Why am I only attracted to arrogant men?

Most of the time, whenever I'm attracted to a man, I usually find out that he has an inflated opinion of himself. Also, he will usually be bombastic, always talking about how talented he is and what great things he's done. Although I recognize that these men are y, and I know they'd be a pain in the @$$ to date, I'm still wildly attracted to them in a very ual, almost primeval way. I suspect that it might be because I grew up with a conceited father, but his personality drives me nuts! How did you do it? My husband and I were seriously addicted to TV before DD was born (hubby still is). Growing up I could quote the whole movies to Breakfast club and Ferris buellers day off in 4th grade. I watched a lot of TV growing up (must not have affected me a lot though cause I got a bachelor's and MBA). Anyways, football season is coming up and my hubby has to watch every single game as well as everything on Sci fi channel, CSI, etc. etc. I DO NOT want my baby watching TV (she's 4 months and we don't turn it on while I'm home with her during the day). HOW do we come to a compromise between my husband and me? He says he's willing to throw the TV out all together and watch football somewhere else. Is this extreme? If you had absolutely no TV growing up would you feel deprived? Please relay to me how you went about the TV issue in your home. I want to know if you tossed the TV in the garbage, limited it and how you instituted these changes. Thanks.

I have blurred vision, in both eyes.?

I went and saw an optometrist not to long ago, maybe a week ago at the most. He said everything was fine and my vision was excellent. But today today my vision started getting blurry. Also i was sorta sick yesterday but I'm recovering. I have a headache but its getting better from yesterday and i had a stomach ache too but its pretty much gone. Also I've been having hearing problems, ringing in my ears (not consistent at all and i only hear it at night if even and very weak) and yesterday i got the feeling a lot like when your on an airplane. I have sorta of an undiagnosed anxiety disorder too. I worry a lot about my health (as you probably noticed) and its always just nothing.

Allergic to MAC cosmetics?

Hi! I have around 8 lipgles,4 lipsticks, and 2 tinted lip conditioners from MAC. It seems that every one of those breaks me out. I get a red rash all around my mouth but I'm not sure if it's MAC that's breaking me out. I just got through a really terrible rash on my face and I haven't been able to use anything but burt's bees lipbalm. Is it the vanilla fragrance that's in the lip products that breaks me out? Lipsmackers and drugstore lipglosses with flavor always give me a rash, but even high-end makeup like MAC does?

Can you get in real trouble for doing this on AIM?

So a few days ago, my friend [age 12] was on AIM. He made a fake account and pretended to be this girl in our school Tiara. He was IMing a bunch of people saying some nasty stuff and one time he told me he regrets it, but he said to Tiara, "this is your mom" because her mom died. So Tiara and a couple of her friends guessed it was a girl in their cl who has no friends and who has a real attitude. So Tiara printed it and brought it to school. The VP got involved and told us the next dy to not cyber bully. He said that they were trying to get this person's IP address. My friend got really nervous. He doesn't want to tell that he did it because he knows he'll get into a lot of trouble and regrets what he did, and I don't blame him for being scared. I don't know how far they are taking this- if the cops are involved or not. I read online that people on AIM can only get your IP if you open a file they send you. Please tell me it's true I don't want to see him get in trouble. I am PRAYING that this will all fade away soon and everyone justs forgets about it and lives life on. So back to the problem, is there any way that they can find out it was him? And please don't suggest fessing up because I know him well enough to know that he never will. And this might be a bit of a devious idea, but is it possible for them to get the wrong address so that if they do trace it back to him, he can kinda lie about it. He also told everyone that he was talking to the fake Tiara too so that might back up the lies, don't you think? Who has similar problems with Stepdaughters?

I have five stepdaughters who are 23, 22, 19, 12, & 8. The 12 & 8 yr old come over every Sunday watching everything I say and do, then report to their Mom. Then their Mom yells at my husband about me. I don't really know what is going on. The 12 yr old girl wipes boogers and food on our chairs every Sunday and the 8 yr old tells her Mom AND Dad I smack her, pull her hair, and tell her she's fat and ugly!! I have never said or done anything like that! I'm never alone with them. When they come over they are "acting" aways happy to see me but when I leave the room, the 12 yr old will follow to see what I'm doing, then pretends to want to talk to me about girl stuff. I use to enjoy talking to all of them but they write about me and email to me what they write about me. I've talked to my husband and he has had several talks with them but it gets worse. Their Mother doesn't know me and convinces the youngest I abuse her! I found them snooping in my purse twice! UGH I don't know what to do!

Computer and monitor question?

I have a HP slimline computer, and a synaps LCD flatscreen monitor, They both have worked fine for the last couple months, i have made no alterations, but today when i turned the PC on, my monitor has no input signal on it, i tried jiggling the wires re connectiong rebooting, i tried my husbands monitor which is the same one as i have, and it works no problem, i put mine back in, and its a no go.. the power light stays orange and iuts usualy yellow when its on and working fine, i dont know if my monitor blew, or if there is something i can do or try? someone PLEASE help!!!!

How do I pick and choose which papers to keep and throw?

I am a writer and a list maker. Papers are sacred because I pour my heart out onto them. I have always had trouble being a paper hoarder. I am overwhelmed with how many papers I have. I have purchased a filing cabinet, dividers, and hanging holders. I've started by dividing loosely by "Personal" (i.e. my journal, my ideas, my planners, memorabilia and more), "Professional/Serious" (taxes, school planning, job paperwork, apartment paperwork, bills), "Instructions" (from everything I've ever owned almost), "Action needed" (a credit card program I need to cancel, Someone's mail I need to return because it was accidentally sent to me, and more), "Receipts" (I will throw away after I enter them online), "Recipes", "Fitness" (my forms tracking my fitness and informative tips). There are more papers that won't fit into those categories. I read in an article that studies show people on average only go back and use 30% of the papers they keep. I would like to narrow this down! Any tips please? Have you ever done anything like this? I can't afford a professional organizer or one of those nifty $200 scanners that place them in categories for you.

Mildew or Mealy bugs in my house plants?

Hi there, I have two plants, one is a china doll and the ivy. I noticed a little while ago that my china doll was experiencing some drop leaf and I thought I may be over watering it. I ceased watering it as much and it seemed to be getting a little better however today I noticed tiny bundles of white fluff all over the china doll as well as a few little bundles on the ivy (not in the soil). Then I umed it was mealy bugs so I sprayed it with an alcohol/water/soap solution. My question concerns the fact that there is a white powdery substance on the terra cotta pots that both of my plants are in and I've never heard of mealy bugs leaving white fluffy stuff on a pot before, just on the plant. That coupled with the fact that I cannot actually see any insects brings me back to thinking it's mildew. I don't want to get it wrong because if i continue to spray the water solution I'm afraid mildew will get worse. Help?!

In high school I saw this guy and thought he was good looking. Now 15 years later I see him every Sunday and Wednesday in church and in the beginning I told myself I didn't like him and made excuses on why. Now after seeing him in church all the time for two years now I can't help myself anymore. I can't get him out of my head and I'm really shy and every time I get close in his proximity my heart races and I get all nervous and don't know how to act. Two weeks ago I emailed him and asked him a couple of simple questions for the first time and he didn't email me back. Then we had this fall festival and he asked me if it was me and I told him it was. He apologize for not emailing me back and that is where we stand.
