I thinks it's good that you are trying to make up with him but sounds like you need to give him his space and see if he comes around. the other thing is to get him in person instead of phone, email, or text. can you arrange a bump in? don't call and arrange a meetup (cuz you already went out of your way to get ahold of him and you don't want to bug him) so try to find out when he gets off work and run into him. talk tohim face to face.
