Young new to marriage, husband is a and I don't know what to do?

Before I was married my husband and I discussed how we plan to live. He was raised in a home where the dad sat on his *** while the mom did all the work. My husband vowed to turn that around and be helpful and make the marriage a two way effort. We have been married 3 months now and he is EXACTLY like his dad!! He throws his dirty clothes wherever he damn well pleases as if he never used a hamper, never does the dishes even tho he agreed to do them since I do all the laundry, he expects dinner every day, never offers to help, never cleans ANYTHING and treats me like his personal slave "get me this get me that" He is in the airforce, I gave up a lot to be with him. We have only been married for three months and I am completely miserable. I feel like I made a mistake. I've tried talking to him but he ALWAYS gets defensive or sarcastic. If we ever have children I dont want him to be the example for how a man treats a woman. He didn't used to be this bad. I want to go home so bad but don't want to give up so soon either. Will things ever get better?
